Nice, one of the most popular and classy tourism spots on the south coast of France, is actually a place with sandy but rocky beaches. It is also a beautiful city, host of jazz festivals and numerous events, a warm and beautiful place with a Mediterranean climate.
The pebbly shores don’t keep tourists away though, as Nice is the fifth most populous city in France and a major tourist spot on Cote d’Azur. There are many places you can simply walk in order to enjoy the city – the most famous is Promenade des Anglais; you can also choose to take a bus tour of the city. The Matisse Museum, Le Chateau (the Castle), the Russian Cathedral and Nice Port are only some of the major attractions of this city. As you’ll go to the beach you’ll see that the water is blue and clear and you’ll also find pigeons here. Many palm trees can be seen in the city which is actually called Nice la Belle, meaning Nice the Beautiful.
Here are some photos from Nice – in a random order. These copyrighted photos were taken by a dear friend who allowed me to post them on my blog.

So beautiful! Nice is both lush and in possession of gorgeous French architecture. I love the serene image of pigeons on the beach!
Pretty!! I’ve always dreamed of going to France, one day hopefully!
It looks wonderful, I have only been once for a short stay but would definitely love to return for a bit longer.
